Annunciata la shortlist per gli Oscar 2025

L'Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha annunciato i titoli che hanno superato la selezione nelle shortlist di 10 categorie, tra cui Miglior film internazionale e Miglior documentario.

Il film Hayat, diretto da Zeki Demirkubuz e candidato per la Turchia dalla Direzione Generale del Cinema del Ministero della Cultura e del Turismo, non è riuscito a entrare nella shortlist.

Emilia Pérez, diretto da Jacques Audiard e vincitore del Premio della Giuria al Festival di Cannes, è riuscito a entrare nella shortlist in 6 categorie. È seguito dal musical Wicked, presente in 4 categorie.

Le candidature definitive per gli Oscar 2025 saranno annunciate il 17 gennaio 2025. La cerimonia di premiazione degli Oscar 2025, presentata da Conan O’Brien, si terrà il 2 marzo 2025.
